"Nightfalls"
upon my recent trip home too the south island new zealand, my brother waned to go for a bush walk and find a place to spend the night offtrack and of course i thought fantastic!! nothing beats the bush of the southern alps west coast of NZ and my maunga (mountain) conected to my maori whakapapa.
little did i know it would become a 5 hour treck up the blue pools valley with a quick stop for a decedent mushroom cacao half way through our journey, ( my brothers magic elixir, subtle and sweet}.
we finally decided too rest for the night in a beautiful clearing overlooking the most spectacular falls, this is a sight i would guess less than a hundred people have seen in the recent history and I am honoured too share it with you.
