This work was done in the evening darkness during the recent tropical cyclone, it kept me calm and comforted whilst the elements shattered the world outside not so different as the seasons do to the trees around us, this particular image takes me to the peaceful beauty of autumn in lake Wanaka New Zealand, I can imagine this is a small lake island and it is where the "spirit of the lake" finds its shelter on a wild autumn day.
